Suddenly...

It's all quiet at the Western front...

Dad and mom and I just sent off sis and the kids to the airport in two cars. And when I reached home (parents have gone for massage), the house seemed so empty and so eeriely quiet (ok, i exaggerated but you get the picture!) What a difference it is from the bustle and liveliness of the last fortnight!

At the airport, the kids had McDonald's while the adults had some exorbitantly-priced coffee, satay and beer. When it came to the time of parting, Miu Miu was the most sociable - she hugged each of us and kept on saying `bye-bye'.. Even when they walked on, she kept turning back and and waved at us - even when she was at the immigration counter.

Well, sometimes the kids - especially the boys - can be so uncontrollable that you feel like vommitting blood! But i can't say i didn't have fun with them around.. Edgar is pretty grown up now and can engage in proper conversation. Sean is cute when he is not in his mood of tantrum! But we have to admit that it's the adorable Alexis who has become everyone's darling.

I mean, how could anyone resist her manja way and her sweet smile and voice.. Ohh..how we will miss her.

So my `leave' is officially over now.. have to get back to some work. It has been two weeks of play and fun - outings, malls trips, playing with kids, and also feasting away!! (thanks to sis! :p)

Here are some pix taken today - at home and at the airport

Edgar pouts for the camera.. ;)

Sean makes a funny face!

The many faces of Miu Miu (poor girl was bitten by mozzies..)

Edgar and Jelly are good friends

Mom would not let go of every opportunity to take photo with Miu Miu - who is busy eating her ice-cream!

Sean is reluctant to take photo

Edgar is even more reluctant to take photo!

But Alexis loves taking pictures.. one with gong gong and por por!

And with yiyi while eating

The three kids enjoying their McD's ice-cream

A rare group pix - notice the different funny expressions of the kids!!

Alexis the dare devil!

We took the kids to Genting Highland for two days and spent almost all the time at where else but the theme park - both indoor and outdoor.

Unfortunately it rained in the morning and early afternoon today and so our time at the outdoor was cut short..

But still, everyone had a great time, including little Alexis. She might not be three yet but that girl has lots of guts!! She loved to go on rides and on her own too, even those that looked a little too scary for a kid her size and age!

And we could see she really enjoyed herself while we marvelled at her bravery!

These pix are just a fraction of the rides she went on! :p

Accompanying Alexis on the Carousel - since she couldn't climb onto the horse herself!

Enjoying car-ride all by herself - and constantly waving at us as she zoomed by!

Joining her elder brothers and cousin on the Rodeo Rider - like a mini Space Shot!

Meanwhile, I was like a big kid myself! Following the kids and went on quite a number of rides - including roller coasters (the milder types) spinner and a few others which i forgot the names.. In the indoor theme park, I took Edgar to watch the 4-D motion master, went on bumper car, experiencing the chill in snow world etc....

It's pretty fun actually.. like reliving my childhood again. But also realise that at this age, I am definitely no match for the elder kids when it comes to seeking thrills.. Also, two days of running around Genting and catching up with the kids were no joke - it's T-I-R-I-N-G!

So I accompanied dad to come back tonight first (as he is having a meeting tomorrow morning) Yep, I do need the rest..

The house will be full of life again by tomorrow afternoon!!

The Kids (minus one) are back!

My sis and her two kids - Sean and Alexis - arrived today from Hong Kong!

Big brother Edgar meanwhile will be going for a short trip with his father to Shanghai before joining us a week later. And suddenly the house has become charmingly chaotic once again!

Sean is visibly taller since I saw him in HK early December and cutie Alexis aka miu miu has chopped off her locks and now sporting a trendy short bob! How I missed them..

Since all of us are canine lovers, I had bought these two cute dogs - nicknamed `Bully' and `Pepe' for Sean and Alexis respectively. They seemed to love it, and even fought over it when Sean wanted me to take a photo of the two dogs and Alexis insisted to hold on to her `Pepe'!

And how they love to pose for the camera! hehe, must be the training from their dad since birth.. As I was using indoor mode, I asked them to freeze their poses and smiles for 5 seconds and they managed to do it! Such cute poses aint they?

So..this will be the beginning of a (happy) hectic fortnight! ;)
